Welcome to Murray's Miniatures. We began showing at the AMHR Nationals in 2002. After receiving several ribbons in the National Top Ten, we were hooked on showing.
Murray's Miniatures specialize in horses with Champion bloodlines, and correct conformation. We boast several of the best Performance horses in Canada, with several National Championships and Reserve National Champions in performance classes since 2002, as well as many Top Tens in Stake Championship classes in the various driving divisions. Also, we are very proud of Youth National and National Reserve Champions as well.
John is well known for his love of the Chariot classes and has several National Champion and Reserve National Championships in these classes.
.
As well, we have many National Top Ten horses on our farm, as well as Hall Of Fame horses.
We have both AMHA/AMHR horses and ASPC/AMHR horses, with heights from 29 inches to 38 inches. Small or tall, we love them all.
When we decided to go to the ASPC/AMHR horses , our first double registered filly was a daughter of D&S Grace Kelly. We also purchased two sons of D&S Mack The Knife, as well as a daughter of D&S Southern Comfort. The temperament of these horses was fantastic and they could really trot.
But, with the exception of Filipowicz Thats High Society ( D&S Grace Kelly) they were all AMHR only and we now also had two ASPC/AMHR stallions of the Arenosa bloodlines.
At the 2009 Nationals show, we talked to Dale Lutke and Larry Parnell about who was available and Dale said he had the perfect filly for me -- D&S Kristy Yamaguchi -- a L'il Admiral daughter. We bought her and showed her at the 2010 National show. Kristy placed in the National Top Ten in all of her classes and was the Canadian champion Youth Halter Mare ages 7 and younger (under).
Now, I was asking Larry about a D&S stallion in the "under" division as we already had a HOF ASPC/AMHR stallion in the "over" size. Larry told me about D&S George Kell, a three year old half brother to D&S Jocomotion -- the 2010 National Grand Champion Stallion and also a son of L'il Admiral. Dale said he also had another sweet mare, D&S Tara Lipinsky, another daughter of L'il Admiral.
When I got home, John and I talked it over and we decided we would purchase them both. John called Dale and we purchased D&S Tara Lipinsky & D&S George Kell. So, we now have our very own little band of D&S double registered horses.
However, with a lot of unexpected delays, winter came before Larry got George Kell back to Michigan -- and so George went into driving training with Larry until he brought him home to Michigan.
So, my dream of having a small group of ASPC/AMHR D&S "A" sized horses has become a reality.
At the Ontario Classic show on July 16, 2011, Kristy
Yamguchi won the Hi-Point Pleasure dirving award
in the "under" division.
At the same show, D&S George Kell won the
Hi-Point Pleasure Driving award in the "over" division.
This was their very first time to show in the
driving arena.
At the Drayton Fair Sanctioned Show on
August 8, 2011, we took five RESERVE CHAMPIONSHIPS
D&S George Kell was ...
RESERVE CHAMPION
SENIOR STALLION
RESERVE
GRAND CHAMPION STALLION
RESERVE CHAMPION PLEASURE DRIVING STAKE
D&S Kristy Yamaguchi

What a wonderful start to their
show career . We are very proud of them.
I am pleased to say, we have now joined "THE WAVE OF THE FUTURE."
