Baxters Painted Pasture has been breeding and showing Miniature Horses and Shetland Ponies since 2001. In 2005 we started putting together an ASPC/AMHR herd.

In 2006, we purchased D&S Nestlies Crunch (pictured at right) along with co-owners, Ron and Fran Myers of Thorn Meadow Farm. Crunch already has his AMHR Hall of Fame in Halter. Crunch's first foals were shown at the 2006 AMHR Nationals and did very well. (Crunch now is owned solely by Fran Myers, and Baxters Painted Pasture owns a daughter of his.)
